The Indielab Games UK Accelerator 2024 is designed for founders and leaders from Games Studios and Developers. Each company accepted onto the programme will be allocated two places at every event.
Dates
The Indielab Games UK Accelerator 2024 will take place in person in Newport and Brighton, and virtually across the following dates:
Block One - in person in Newport, Wales
Tuesday 21st May, 9.30am to 5.30pm, followed by networking drinks
Wednesday 22nd May, 9.30am to 5.30pm
Block Two - virtual attendance (online)
Tuesday 4 June, 9.00am to 1:00pm
Wednesday 5 June, 9.00am to 1:00pm
Wednesday 12 June, 9.00am to 1:00pm
Wednesday 19 June, 9.00am to 1:00pm
Wednesday 26 June, 9.00am to 1:00pm
Thursday 27 June, 9.00am to 1:00pm
Block Three - in person in Brighton, England
Monday 8 July, 9.30am to 5.30pm, followed by networking drinks
Tuesday 9 July, 9.00am to 1.00pm
There will be additional virtual lunchtime sessions taking place online – dates to follow.
Please note that all dates are subject to change, and in-person events planned to take place may revert to online events or be rescheduled in the event of unforeseen circumstances, such as a change in government health guidelines, or industrial action. Where possible, all attendees will be notified at least a month in advance as to whether events can go ahead in person, so that travel and accommodation plans can be made in time.
Programme Fees and Bursaries
The Indielab Games Accelerator 2024 is delivered with the generous support of our sponsors and funders. Our costs are heavily subsidised and payable only after an offer of a place has been made. Bursaries are available for Scottish and Welsh companies - please see Nations Scheme below.
Accelerator Fee: £2,750+VAT per company, covering two attendee places.
An earlybird discount rate of £2,500+VAT will apply for applications received by 1pm on Friday 8th March 2024.
Fees are per company and include the costs for two members to attend the full programme. Benefits you will receive include:
Approximately 50 hours of intensive training and supporting content across main delivery 10 days

Applications close at 6pm on Tuesday 9th April 2024.

Nations scheme criteria
We welcome applications from across the UK and thanks to our funding arrangement and the kind support of our partners at Creative Wales, Creative Scotland and Glasgow City Council, we are able to exclusively offer a number of places on our Nations scheme for studios based in Scotland and Wales.
Companies wishing to apply for a nations placement should detail so on their application form.

Our definition of disability is based on that in the Equality Act 2010: a physical or mental condition that is long-lasting and has a substantial adverse effect on day-to-day activities.
